The Finishing Touch That Makes Your Interior Cladding Look Truly Professional
Installing beautiful interior cladding panels is only half the job. The corners and edges are what customers notice first — and without the right accessories, even premium panels can look incomplete or DIY. Clads Australia's Internal Cladding Accessories are the purpose-made finishing pieces that tie your entire wall installation together with clean lines, neat corners, and a seamless, high-end result.
Whether you're a homeowner doing a feature wall makeover, a tradie completing a commercial fit-out, or a builder finishing a new home in Melbourne or regional Victoria — these accessories are the simple, affordable step that takes your cladding from good to exceptional.
What's in This Range
L-Corner Internal Capping
The L-Corner is a slim, elegant profile trim designed to cap the internal corners and exposed edges of your cladded walls. It neatly covers the raw board ends where two walls meet or where a wall terminates at a doorframe, ceiling, or window reveal — hiding any gaps, protecting board edges from chipping, and creating a crisp, straight line that looks intentional and architectural.
- Size: 3000 × 25 × 25mm (H × W × D)
- Colours available: Black, Dark Teak, 6180-1 (light timber/natural tone)

- Feature walls in living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas
- TV wall installations where panels stop at the side edges
- Hallway walls where two cladded surfaces meet at a corner
- Home offices and studies with accent cladding
- Commercial spaces — cafes, retail stores, offices, reception areas

How Many Do I Need?
Measure the total linear height of all corners and edge terminations in your project. Each L-Corner piece is 3000mm (3 metres) long.
Example: If you have two wall corners at 2.7m height each, that's 5.4m total — so you'll need 2 pieces (with offcuts remaining for any smaller joins). Always add 10% for wastage and cuts.

Installation Tips
- Cut to length using a mitre saw or fine-tooth hand saw for a clean, splinter-free cut
- Fix to the wall first using construction adhesive or nails, then slide cladding boards up to it — or apply over the top of installed panels
- For best results, dry-fit the corner piece before fixing to check alignment
- Use a spirit level to ensure the trim runs perfectly vertical

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need accessories for internal cladding? Yes — if your cladding has any visible corner, edge termination, or join, you'll need a trim piece. Without it, the raw board end is exposed, vulnerable to damage, and looks unfinished.
What's the difference between the Internal and External L-Corner accessories? The Internal L-Corner (25×25mm) is smaller and designed for interior walls where a slim, subtle profile is preferred. The External L-Corner (50×50mm) is larger and built to handle outdoor weather exposure. Always use the correct one for your application.
Can I use the Internal L-Corner on a wet area wall like a bathroom? Our A+ Cladding and Wet Wall Panelling ranges are suitable for wet areas — and yes, the L-Corner accessories can also be used in these areas as they are moisture resistant. Always seal joins with a waterproof silicone sealant in wet applications.
What if I can't find a colour that perfectly matches my panels? Call us on 0416 292 287 or email YES@CLADS.COM.AU — our team will help you identify the best colour match, or you can order a free sample to compare in person before ordering.
Can I paint or stain these trim pieces to match custom colours? The trim profiles are not designed for painting, but the three available colours cover the most popular cladding tones. If you have a unique colour requirement, contact our team.
How are these priced — per piece or per pack? Each unit is priced per individual length (one 3000mm piece). Order the quantity you need based on your measurements.
