Product Characteristic & Variation Disclosure

Notice to Purchaser: Payment, part-payment, or written acceptance of a Clads Australia Invoice constitutes an absolute and irrevocable acceptance of the following terms regarding product finishes and natural variations.

1. Mandatory Sampling & Client Due Diligence

Clads Australia strongly urges all clients to obtain physical samples prior to order placement. * The Onus of Review: By proceeding with an invoice without a current physical sample in hand, the client waives any right to dispute color, texture, or finish upon delivery.

Screen vs. Reality: Digital images and PDFs are for conceptual use only. They cannot accurately replicate the tactile nature or true color profile of our materials.

2. Acceptance of Terms via Invoice

By settling this invoice, the client acknowledges that they have performed their due diligence and accept that the goods supplied are subject to the natural and manufacturing variations detailed below. Clads Australia will not entertain claims for replacement, refund, or rectification based on these inherent characteristics.

3. Acoustic Panels: Natural Timber Veneer

Our acoustic panels utilize genuine timber veneers. Because timber is a natural, organic material, it is subject to the laws of nature, not factory calibration.

Veneer Evolution: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, the grain, texture, and color of the veneer will vary between panels and will change over time due to UV exposure and environmental factors.

Natural Markings: Knots, grain swirl, and mineral streaks are not defects; they are the fingerprint of the timber.

Non-Uniformity: No two panels will be identical. By accepting the invoice, you accept a "natural" aesthetic over a "printed" or "artificial" one.

4. WPC (Wood Plastic Composite): Visual & Lighting Disparity

WPC products are engineered to provide a specific aesthetic that interacts with ambient and direct light.

Metamerism & Illusions: Due to the profile geometry and surface brushing of WPC, panels may appear to be different shades or colors—giving illusions of lighting disparity—depending on the angle of the light, the time of day, or the direction of installation.

Shadow Play: These optical illusions are inherent to the product's texture and are not indicative of a batch mismatch or a manufacturing flaw.

5. Batch & Colour Variances

While Clads Australia maintains strict quality control, slight color variances between production runs are a reality of building material manufacturing.

Sample vs. Stock: Samples are provided as a guide only. The delivered stock may have a marginal variance in tone or hue from the sample provided months prior.

Batch Integrity: We recommend ordering the total required quantity in a single batch to minimize variance. Supplemental orders placed at a later date are guaranteed to have color shifts compared to the original install.
