Delivery, depots and pickup

Do you deliver to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Tasmania and the NT?

Yes. We ship from our Melbourne warehouse to every state and territory, including Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Orders can go to your door or to one of more than 150 freight depots across Australia for you to collect.

How much is delivery to my postcode?

It depends on the product, how long the boards are and where you are. At checkout you'll see local Melbourne options and, for most other areas, a freight quote option that starts from $125–$150 (more for 5.8 m boards). We confirm the exact freight cost within 1 business day of your order, and you can either pay the difference or cancel for a full refund. For a price before you order, send us your postcode and product list.

Do you have a showroom or depot near me in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Canberra?

Our only showroom is in Sunshine, Melbourne. The 150+ depots around Australia are freight collection points, not showrooms, and don't hold stock: we pack your order in Melbourne and send it to the depot nearest you. If you can't visit us, order free samples to see the colours and finish at home.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders are dispatched within 5 business days of payment. Transit time then depends on the carrier and your location; Melbourne metro is fastest, and regional and remote areas take longer. You'll get a tracking link by email once your order ships. Track your order.

When is your showroom open, and can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can collect from 35 Market Road, Sunshine VIC 3020. We're open Monday to Friday 9:30am–5:00pm and Saturday 9:30am–2:00pm. Please check your materials at pickup; you can refuse any item that isn't what you ordered.

I've paid but haven't received a confirmation or tracking. What do I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first, as confirmation emails sometimes land there. If there's still nothing, email yes@clads.com.au or text 0416 292 287 with your order number or name, and we'll send your confirmation and tracking details. Track your order.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Inspect your goods on delivery and note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery docket. Report any hidden damage or discrepancy to us in writing within 3 business days of delivery, with photos.

Samples

Can I get free samples?

Yes. You can request up to 3 free samples of our cladding and acoustic panels, delivered free anywhere in Australia by standard courier. Use our free sample request and paste in the names of the products you'd like, or collect samples free from our Sunshine showroom.

How long do samples take to arrive?

Samples go by standard courier, so timing can't be guaranteed. Express delivery is available on request for an additional fee. If your samples haven't arrived, contact us and we'll follow them up.

Will the colour match what I see on screen?

Colours can look different on screen, and natural materials such as stone vary between pieces and batches. That's why we recommend samples before you order, especially when choosing between close colours. See our Product Characteristic & Variation Disclosure.

Installation

Can you install the panels for me?

Yes, we can arrange installation through our network of independent installers. Send us photos of the wall and your measurements; we'll quote the materials and the installer will quote the installation separately. Installer coverage varies by area, so tell us your suburb and we'll confirm whether we have someone near you.

How do I install acoustic panels? Glue, screws or nails?

Acoustic panels can be fixed with screws, with construction adhesive, or with both; it's your choice. Screws go through the felt between the slats into the wall studs or battens. Screws alone make the panels easier to remove later, while adhesive gives a fixing with no visible screws. The panels sit side by side rather than overlapping. Each product page has an installation guide and videos.

Can I put panels straight onto plasterboard or brick?

For a secure fixing, screw into the wall studs or install battens first, then fix the panels to the battens. Glue or screws into plasterboard alone can let panels shift over time. On brick, battens are fixed with masonry anchors.

What about power points and light switches?

Cut an opening in the panel at the outlet. Because the panel adds depth to the wall, the power point or switch usually needs to be brought forward, which must be done by a licensed electrician.

Can I mount a TV on acoustic or cladding panels?

Fix the TV bracket through the panel into the wall studs or framing behind it. Don't rely on the panel alone to hold the weight.

Do I need trims for corners, windows, ends and the top of the wall?

Yes. Most jobs need starter trims, L trims, external corners, end trims and top caps, and finishing around windows is one of the most common questions we get. Where a panel stops against another wall or around a window, an end trim or L trim gives a clean edge. See our Cladding Trim Profiles Guide or browse accessories. Trim colours vary, so check availability for your colour.

Can installers register to receive work through you?

Yes. Licensed carpenters and installers can register to receive installation enquiries from customers in their area. Contact us with your business name, ABN, licence details and the areas you cover.

Sizes and how many panels you need

How many panels do I need for my wall?

Divide the wall width by the width each panel covers, round up, and add 5–10% for cuts. Acoustic panels cover 600 mm, so a 3.96 m wall needs 6.6, rounded up to 7 panels. Exterior WPC boards cover 200 mm, so you need 5 boards for every metre. Send us your measurements and we'll calculate it for you.

What size are your acoustic panels?

Our acoustic slat panels are 600 mm wide and 22 mm thick, in 2.7 m or 3 m lengths. A 2.7 m panel weighs about 12 kg and a 3 m panel about 13.5 kg. Some colours come in a 3-sides-cover version, with the edges finished as well as the face.

What size are your exterior WPC cladding boards?

Our CodeMark-certified exterior WPC boards are 219 mm wide and 26 mm thick, and cover 200 mm once installed. Lengths range from 2.2 m to 5.8 m depending on the product and colour (for example, Light Teak 4 Slat comes in 2.4 m and 3 m). Each product page lists the lengths available.

How wide are internal cladding panels?

It depends on the profile; many internal panels are around 150–170 mm wide. Coverage per panel is listed on each product page. For example, a 3.6 m Half Clad 4 Slat panel covers 0.72 m².

Do you have thinner panels?

Yes. Our exterior boards are 26 mm thick, while acoustic panels are 22 mm and many internal panels are thinner again. Check the thickness on each product page.

Can I get panels in custom lengths or cut to size?

Panels come in standard lengths and are cut to size on site with standard power tools. Use a fine-tooth blade for a clean edge. Choose the length that gives you the least waste, for example two 1.8 m pieces from a 3.6 m board.

Acoustic and interior panels

Can acoustic panels be used outside?

No. Our acoustic slat panels have an MDF core and are for indoor use only. For an outdoor slat look on a pergola, fence or alfresco wall, use our external WPC cladding instead.

Can acoustic panels bend around a corner or curve?

Yes to an extent, acoustic panels are not rigid they can bend around the corners but may be look wired if you take full 90Dgree turn. Finish external corners with a trim or a neat cut. For curved surfaces such as columns also look at
flexible panels
.

Do you have panels for bathrooms, laundries, garages or splashbacks?

Yes, our Internal Wet Wall Panelling range is designed for wet areas. Check the product page for the specific panel, or ask us to confirm it suits your application.

Do panels need painting?

No. All our panels come pre-finished in their colour, so there's nothing to paint or seal. Painting or coating exterior WPC boards also voids the warranty.

What LED lighting do you have for the panels?

Our LED range includes aluminium batten strips, flexible silicone strips, power adapters and smart touch dimmer switches, sized to sit in the grooves between our cladding and acoustic slats. Check each product page for colour temperature and dimming options.

Can you cut a logo or design into acoustic panels?

Yes. We offer a CNC cutting service on acoustic slat panels, so a business logo or custom design can be cut into a feature wall. Contact us with your artwork and wall size for a quote.

Exterior cladding and outdoor projects

What is WPC cladding? Is it just plastic?

WPC stands for wood plastic composite. It blends wood fibre with polymer for a realistic timber look without timber upkeep. It won't splinter, doesn't need sanding, staining or sealing, and our exterior WPC cladding carries a warranty against splintering, delamination, rot and termite damage.

Can I use your cladding for a fence, screen, pergola or outdoor BBQ?

Yes, our exterior WPC boards are often used on fences, privacy screens, pergolas and outdoor kitchens, fixed to a timber or steel frame. The frame must be designed for the site, and the CodeMark certificate covers external wall cladding only, not fences or free-standing structures. Send us your measurements and we'll work out quantities.

Do I need a top cap or cover on exterior cladding?

Yes, finish the exposed top and ends with a top cap or end trim. It gives a clean edge and keeps water out of the board ends. See accessories.

Are screws and clips included with the boards?

No. Fixings, clips and trims are sold separately in our accessories range, because every job and fixing method is different, so you only buy what your job needs. Ask us to include everything in your quote.

Do you sell large flat aluminium sheets?

No. Our aluminium cladding comes as profiled boards, not large flat sheets. If your design needs flat sheet aluminium, a sheet-metal supplier is the better option.

What colours are available, and how do similar colours differ?

Popular colours include charcoal grey, black, midnight black, teak, walnut, white and Nordic white. In our WPC range, Midnight Black is darker than Black, and White and Nordic White are the same colour with a different surface texture. If you're matching a timber such as kwila, order samples first. See the Product Catalogue.

Compliance, fire and warranty

Is your cladding CodeMark certified?

Yes. The CLADS Australia Castellated Wall Cladding System (our exterior WPC cladding) holds CodeMark Certificate of Conformity CM40481, issued by CMI Certification on 7 October 2026 and valid until 7 October 2029. It is certified against NCC/BCA 2022 and 2025 for wind action, weatherproofing, rising damp, condensation management and energy efficiency, for building Classes 1–10 in non-cyclonic wind classes N1–N4. View the certificate details.

Does the CodeMark certificate cover all your products?

No. CM40481 covers the exterior WPC Castellated Wall Cladding System only, installed in line with our Installation Guide (Version 2, September 2026). It does not cover our aluminium cladding, stone cladding, fibre cement cladding, internal WPC panels or acoustic panels. Cyclonic regions and wind classes N5 and N6 are excluded.

Is your cladding fireproof or fire rated?

Fire requirements depend on your building class, location and compliance pathway. Our exterior WPC cladding system has been fire tested, and we can supply the test documentation for your building surveyor. Our internal panels are intended for general residential interiors. For apartments (Class 2) or commercial projects, tell us the building class and requirement and we'll advise which products and documents apply.

Can I get documents for my builder or building surveyor?

Yes. We can provide the full CodeMark certificate, installation guide, technical data and test documentation for your project. Request documentation and include your project address.

What warranty comes with your cladding?

Our exterior WPC cladding has a manufacturer's warranty of 15 years for residential use and 10 years for commercial use, covering splintering, delamination, rot and termite damage when installed to our guide. It's in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Read the warranty.

Ordering, pricing and trade

Is it in stock?

Stock moves quickly, especially on popular colours. Before ordering for a project, contact us with the product and quantity and we'll confirm availability.

Do you have discount codes or trade pricing?

We run regular website sales, shown on our Sale page. Builders and tradies receive trade pricing starting at 20% off, with better pricing on larger orders. Open a trade account.

How do I get a quote?

Use our quote request form or email yes@clads.com.au with the product and colour, your measurements or quantities, any trims, your delivery postcode and your timeline. Photos of the wall help. Trade customers should include their business name and ABN.

How do I pay an invoice or deposit?

Our invoices include a secure online payment link. If you'd prefer another method, reply to your invoice email and we'll help.

Can I return items?

Please read our Return & Refund Policy before ordering. Sale, discounted and custom-cut items can't be returned, so order samples first if you're unsure about a colour or finish.
